World War I was a notoriously messy conflict, from how it started, to the brutal trench warfare, to how it ended. And, one of the clearest pieces of evidence for this is that, despite losing the war, the German Empire had actually won on the Eastern Front. After the Russian Revolution and the outbreak of the Russian Civil War, Russia had fallen into complete chaos, during which the Soviet Bolsheviks decided that they needed to make peace with the Germans. But, what if that changed? What if the Soviets had never made peace with Germany, and had stayed in World War I? Enjoy!
