Kochi: Former North Paravoor magistrate M Smitha has given statement against SI Deepak who is accused in the Varappuzha custodial death case. The magistrate has given statement that SI Deepak had brutally assaulted persons accused in cases earlier and that he is a trouble maker. The Mathrubhumi News has got a copy regarding this. It was Deepak's habit to arrest the accused, violating the guidelines issued by the Supreme Court. The Magistrate says that she had given warning to SI Deepak several times in this regard.
