Powered Vent Fans in a Crawl Space Are Not The Answer!

We have first hand experience installing "powered vent fans" in crawl spaces. We used to be a preferred installer for a local company that marketed a "smart, energy efficient, ventilation system" for crawl spaces. Unfortunately we have had to go back and rip some of them out because they just wasn't cutting it.

These ventilation fans typically do more harm than good. Check this video out to hear some of the reasons we are not "fans" of this idea.
