In June 2015, WWF and Rewilding Europe brought a second bison herd to the Romanian Carpathians. Bison had been extinct from the area for over 200 years. In this video, you can see Houdini -- named like this because he chose not to stay in the closed acclimatisation area like the rest. He broke through the fence immediately and vanished in the woods! Some 500 fellow bison will join him in the next 10 years.
