I built this Car Racing Motion Simulator from scratch using car wind screen wiper motors for actuation, universal joint for the movement of the seat. Motors are controlled by the Arduino micro-controller with H-Bridge as the motor driver with feed back PID loop. The motion sim has 2 Degree of Freedom (Surge-tilts the seat backwards when accelerating & forwards when braking, Sway-tilts the seat left/right when cornering) plus Traction Loss-swings the back of the Sim. My grandson Hudson (5 yo) is my test driver. Still under fine tuning before I start driving!
