The airport is less than 20 minutes away, while Mykonos Town is about 12 minutes by car, though ensure to account for traffic snarls.

It sits on a hillside in the south-west of the island above the small sandy stretch of Agios Ioannis beach, just a 20-minute drive from the airport in one direction and the port, for ferries to Santorini and more, in the other. Transfers in the hotel’s air-conditioned shuttle can be arranged. It’s worth organising a boat trip (they can pick you up from the pier just a five-minute walk down the hill) to see the ruins of Unesco site and island Delos, and to find the most azure waters for swimming. A 15-minute taxi will deliver you to the capital of Chora, to wander its winding streets in search of windmills.
