Today I'm sharing two Sliding Puzzle Cards one using a full 6"x6" sheet of patterned paper and inch sized pieces, and a NEW smaller size puzzle using 3/4" sizes pieces to make a 4.5" square puzzle that you can add to a larger card if you wish. I am using products from The Works, but the ideas would work with any patterned paper, or stamps you have in your collection. These is a really fun card making technique, adding an extra interactive element to your makes as well as something different for your recipient.
You could use these cards in a place-setting for Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner to keep people occupied while they wait for the goodies!
No specialist crafting equipment is needed, these cards need minimal supplies- all you need are pencil, ruler, and a paper trimmer to make these cards. Foam tape will make these easier to assemble, but you can make them with stacked card stock strips or craft foam instead if you prefer. You can put anything you like on your puzzle as long as you can still cut it up when you've finished, so you can die-cut, stamp, colour, get inky, whatever you love to do.
Today's cards both use imperial (inches) measurements.
This Playlist has all of of other Sliding Puzzle Card videos in it showing different sizes and techniques based around this idea, the first video on it shows the 2.5cm sized pieces I mentioned in the video:
