Lawrence G. Ewing, CPA, MST, has more than 25 years of experience providing state and local tax (SALT) services for clients across various industries. His specialty areas include:

• Representation in tax controversy matters, including audits, protests and voluntary disclosure agreements.
Prior to joining Sikich, Larry held positions of increasing responsibility serving the SALT needs of clients across the Midwest. He has managed all state compliance and planning (nexus in 50 states) for both middle market and large companies in the finance, manufacturing and transportation industries. The state and local taxes involved included income, franchise, sales/use and other taxes imposed by state and local jurisdictions.
In addition to his client responsibilities, Larry trains tax professionals within the firm and is a frequent speaker on various aspects of SALT taxation.
