Seeing Manny Pacquiao in person was overwhelming. I didn't know what to do. I was jumping with joy, running in circles, and kept saying the same thing all over. I was shaking, and I knew my face turned red because I could feel the blood going up to my head. I was talking to him in English, too. It was only after my daughter asked me, "Mom, why are you talking in English?", then I realized that I was not in my right senses. Hehe, the effect of Manny on me.
My daughter told me before that when she gets a chance to see Manny, she might cry because she's a huge fan. When the day finally happened, she was relaxed, calm, and lo and behold, I wasn't. I even thought for a while that I would pass out. Whoa! It was one experience that I would definitely never, ever forget in my whole life. The day of April 18, 2015, the day we saw in person the "People's Champ", our very own, Manny Pacquiao. Awesome! Just awesome!
A lot of people, richest of the rich, famous personalities of the world, people from all walks of life, they all wanted to see him, be his friends, show their support, to Manny. And who wouldn't? This guy who is admired all over the world, very successful and very famous in the field of boxing, is extremely modest, in spite of his stature in life. He is the epitome of good sportsmanship.
My hubby and I are very happy that this history in the making is happening in our generation. We witnessed and are still witnessing the history of the greatest, Manny Pacquiao.
