1. I am a Resident Permit Holder returning to Dubai, is there any special requirement with regard to Documentation in view of COVID -1 9 Pandemic?
UAE government has permitted entry into UAE for a limited period between 12th July 2020 till 26th July 2020, for which you are required to have
(i) A valid ICA or GDRFA (General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs) approval if you are going to Dubai.
(ii) A valid Negative COVID – 19 PCR test.
(iii) Health Declaration Form, Quarantine Undertaking form to be filled and submitted at Dubai Apt on arrival and
(Iv) A Downloaded COVID-19 – DXB Smart App
Passengers with expired ICA / GDRFA approval will not be accepted at check-in
The passenger to apply afresh for entry into UAE
2. I am a Resident Permit Holder returning to Abu Dhabi, is there any special requirement with regard to Documentation in view of COVID -1 9 Pandemic?
UAE government has permitted entry into UAE for a limited period between 12th July 2020 till 26th July 2020, for which you are required to have
(i) a valid ICA approval if you are going to Abu Dhabi.
(ii) a valid Negative COVID – 19 PCR test.
(iii) Health Declaration Form, Quarantine Undertaking form to be filled and submitted at Abu Dhabi Airport on arrival and
Passengers with expired ICA approval will not be accepted at check-in
The passenger to apply afresh for entry into UAE
3. I am a Resident Permit Holder returning to Sharjah, is there any special requirement with regard to Documentation in view of COVID -1 9 Pandemic?
UAE government has permitted entry into UAE for a limited period between 12th July 2020 till 26th July 2020, for which you are required to have
(i) a valid ICA or GDRFA (General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs) approval if you are going to Sharjah.
(ii) Health Declaration Form, Quarantine Undertaking form to be filled and submitted at Sharjah Airport on arrival and
(iii) a valid Negative COVID – 19 PCR test.
Passengers with expired ICA approval will not be accepted at check-in
The passenger to apply afresh for entry into UAE
4. Which approval must I get if I am travelling to UAE? ICA or GDRFA?
ICA approval is required for Resident Permit Holders returning to Abu Dhabi or Sharjah or Dubai.
A valid GDRFA approval is permissible only if your arrival airport is Dubai or Sharjah.
5. Is COVID-19 PCR Test mandatory to travel to UAE?
A valid Negative COVID – 19 PCR test, no older than 96 hours prior departure is mandatory for travel back to Sharjah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Dubai: When you arrive in Dubai, you must take a PCR test at the airport and remain in your residence until you receive the test result. If the test result is positive, you will be required to undergo isolation and follow the Dubai Health Authority guidelines.
Abu Dhabi: PCR testing and temperature screening is in operation at Abu Dhabi airport.
Sharjah: PCR testing is being undertaken on arrival.
6. Can I travel to UAE with my Work Permit or a Tourist Visa?
Currently, ONLY Resident permit holders RETURNING to UAE are allowed for travel for a limited period of 12th July 2020 till 26th July 2020 from India.
