To help us all make better pasta at, I collated a list of 10 common steps that are critical in avoiding some of the mistakes:
1. Choose rough-looking pasta
2. Choosing the right pot
3. How much water do I use?
4. Using the right amount of salt
5. Set a timer
6. Stir the pasta in the first 1-2 minutes
7. Save some pasta water for the sauce
8. Have the sauce ready before the pasta is done
9. Finish cooking the pasta in the sauce
10. Don't forget to garnish
