This is the second episode of an ongoing tutorial series for Propellerhead's Reason software. In this episode, I give a quick intro to the main synthesizers and drum machines that are available stock with Reason [Thor, Subtractor, Malstrom, NN-XT, NN-19, ReDrum, Kong]: how their interfaces look, how they sound and the basics of how to make your own sounds. I plan to do in-depth videos on each of these instruments later on.
Reason is a piece of software used mainly for electronic music composition but you can also use it for sampling, arranging, MIDI editing, etc. In later episodes I will go over Reason's synths, effects, how to write and record MIDI and much more 👌
