Six police personnel were injured and Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma was trapped for around an hour after a mob pelted stones at the Mini Secretariat in Meghalaya’s Tura.
According to police, a mob of 200-300 people began pelting stones at the Mini Secretariat on Monday evening. Sangma was conducting a meeting inside with Garo civil society organisations such as ACHIK and Garoland State Movement Committee (GHSM).
