Jaw position and therefore the angle at which you play the trumpet is crucial to your success as a trumpeter. In this video, I demonstrate a fast and easy way to determine what your natural angle is. When we play with our natural angle, the mouthpiece is better aligned to to the lips and teeth, providing a better seal and easier vibration without undue manipulation.
