making a plaster mold of a skull I got from the dollar store. my plan is to eventually make a metal sculpture from the mold. the mold is made from plaster cloth purchased from Amazon, hobby lobby or your local arts and crafts store. easy to apply. safe on your skin. be sure to lay down a plastic cloth and newspaper to protect the table that you are working on. I'm working on my welding bench so I don't mind if it gets dirty. not much will hurt my welding bench. maybe just make it a little rusty.
