I bought a hat shaped as a fox (artificial fur, cute but far from realistic), which I was going to give to a friend of mine as a gift... I put it on to show off in front of my mum, but as I was walking to her one of my cats named Vinya saw me and ran off in fear. I wanted to film his embarrassment after he would realise it was just me, but well... it turned out to be an even greater embarrassment - not only did he not recognise me, but he actually behaved totally inadequate and wetted himself from fear... First I laughed, then I was scared myself as I'd never seen him in such a state! He is pretty shy but never-ever-ever did I hear him producing such sounds and actually hissing and roaring... and all because of a cartoonish artificial fox!..
By the way, the cat of my friend who I gave this hat the very next day (and was quite relieved to get rid of it!) was perfectly cool and found nothing scary in this hat!
Gosh, you really never know what would make your pet freak out!..
