Transformers introduced the Autobot Mirage in 1984 as part of the very first series in line. Of course, he was based on the Diaclone toy, but fit right into this new universe. Getting a complete, good-condition G1 toy of this spy can be difficult and expensive. This Generation One knockoff counterfeit reissue may be an alternative, and Captain Kyle checks it out thoroughly.
Mirage may prefer hunting turbo foxes on Cybertron, but his ability to become invisible (no, not holograms, that’s Hound’s department) makes him the perfect spy. Plus, he ended up being the one to stop the Decepticons at the end of the original 3-part mini-series, “More Than Meets the Eye.” This toy is a replica of the original G1 toy, coming complete with all accessories, stickers, instructions, and even a rub sign if you care to use it. Captain Kyle checks it out for quality so you can decide if it would fit into your collection.
