I hope this is helpful! There's no substitute for practice - there's just no way around the fact that you're going to have to try thousands of times before you build up the muscle strength and coordination. Don't give up! Build confidence and strength over time: start with a carpet board with no wheels, then add wheels, then the pavement with pads and helmet, then rolling. I'm not saying this is the only way - but this is ONE way to approach learning the ollie that is easy to build gradually using one exercise.
This exercise is meant to build up to an ollie and it's meant to be supplementary to all the other great ollie tutorials already out there, not a replacement of.
