The song "Rap God" by Eminem is nothing new for me but it was kind of cool how this session came about. It was during our music video cover “Shape of You” where we met this band while filming in the downtown San Francisco area. Union Square to be exact.

After meeting the band they asked me if I wanted to perform with them for a moment. Well, turned out that I ended up playing about a ½ dozen songs with them and somehow it ended up being a lot of Eminem songs. Partially because I didn’t have my Capo with me and it seemed to fit the mood of the crowd.

Funny how things work out sometimes because the last thing I expected is to perform in front of a bunch of people on the street that night.

After talking with the band which performs often in several places in San Francisco they invited me to play sometime in the future with them at Fishermen’s Warf. I’ll definitely do that sometime soon. I’m all about collaborating in this next chapter.
