In this Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth video guide, I am going to show you how to defeat How to defeat Alexander on Normal Difficulty. With this FF7 video guide I will show you all the boss tactics to how to pressure and stagger the boss in the phases. With this guide you can survive Alexander. Note: This time it is on the second highest Difficulty of the fight. I had a few Materia under leveled and a few holes in my gear thus the difficulty. This fight is not easy. Alexander moves can kill you if you are not careful. Lightning is it's weakness. Take out both limbs and do lightning damage against it to stagger Alexander. After doing damage in Stagger mode get ready to have some MP ready to use the Cleanse Materia Ensura. The Ensura spell will cure a Karma stack. Three karma stacks when the boss does it's special attack will wipe the character or party out. Less Karma stacks means less damage on you. Try to get to two staggers and kill the boss before the second ends.

Note: Issues surviving as melee party members switch to an all range team of Aerith, Yuffie and Barret.


Phase 1 Alexander's Attacks - 2:14
Phase 1 The Dreaded Tracking Beam - 3:11
Phase 1 Go for the Limbs - 3:43
Phase 1 No Limbs time to pressure attack on the chest - 4:35
Phase 1 Alexander can teleport to the other side - 4:58
Phase 2 Stagger Town do much lightning damage as you can - 6:09
Phase 2 Watch out for Karma stacks - 6:49


Note: Karma stacks is a debuff on you and your party. Three karma stacks and Alexander's special attack can do extra damage and most likely a party wipe. Ensura spell from the Cleanse Materia can take out a stack. Repeat phase 1 of going for the limbs. Rush to stagger town in phase 2.
