Throughout the centuries there have been many incredibly brutal execution methods used to sentence someone to death. But the British in India to get the people to live under their colonial rule used a horrifying method of execution to punish those people found guilty of rebelling against them. They used one of their most powerful weapons in their arsenal to cause chaos, devastation and death. Blowing from a gun was a horrific method of execution where a cannon was used to kill a condemned person.

A criminal would be tied to the end of a cannon and then this was fired, which would cause devastation and instant death. This was one of the worst execution methods in history, and it struck great fear into people who watched the execution. Cannons themselves were incredibly powerful, and they would lead to horrifying scenes. The British used this to deal with Indian Rebellions and killed dozens of people in this way. Blowing from a gun/cannon was even used in the 1900s in Afghanistan, and was a horrifying way to die.
