I was asked to build this style of leg for someone's wood slab table. I used 2x3 tubing and 2x2 tubing. I made my fair share of mistakes during this build. But I think learning from our mistakes makes us better in so many ways. I often see students afraid of messing up or failing at learning. I try to help them see, that it’s the best thing you can do. Let’s learn. Even if it’s learning how to not do something. During school time, in a safe environment, is the best time to mess up and learn something new. Welding is awesome!
