Without a doubt, one of the most common things I’ve heard from other youngest children is that they feel invisible. In this video, we discuss what it feels like to be the youngest child and how to approach this complicated topic. I speak mostly from my own experience and from what I have learned and heard from others who are also the youngest children. I was overwhelmed by the number of comments saying they felt left out, looked over, ignored, or invisible. I decided to research deeper into what was causing this and what it actually feels like.

What I found was a silent community that is willing to talk in certain situations. I encountered a lot of pain and hurt. I’m making this video because I want to show others who feel invisible, whether you are the youngest child or not, that you're not completely on your own. It can be incredibly lonely to be this person. I’ve felt this very heavily in my own life. I became so self-dependent because I thought I couldn’t trust anyone. I started feeling like I deserved to be ignored, or that it was my fault. One of the worst belief systems is to believe you deserve it, or that it’s your fault. This belief is crippling and needs to be addressed.
