Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars had been working on Uptown Frunk for 6 months before Bruno came up with the part that went ‘do doh-do’. At first Mark wasn’t at all sure but after sleeping on it, he was sold and realised it was the hook that brought it all together. This clip is taken from Mark Ronson’s BBC Maestro online course, Music Production.
