We finally harvested our onions at the two garden areas. We planted few only this year but he made sure we have the red and the yellow onions. Some of the onions that mom planted next to our house are rotten. I think because cucumber are growing also on that patch and the leaves covers the onions. Instead of drying itself right away once it rained, it cannot since the leaves are too huge for the sun to penetrate at the bulb of the onions. The ones that we planted at the other garden they are all good because there is nothing growing with them only some grass but still the sun can go through the bottom of the onions. It's a learning process for us. Well actually every year we learn something from the garden. It's a continued learning process every year.
