David Cameron has warned the Iraq war inquiry chairman Sir John Chilcot that he is 'fast losing patience' with the ongoing delays to its report. The Prime Minister wrote to Sir John to express his dismay, amid claims the final report into the 2003 invasion will not be published until 2016 - seven years after it was first ordered by Gordon Brown. Mr Cameron's intervention emerged after the Chancellor George Osborne told MPs there was growing public concern at how long the inquiry was taking and order the inquiry to 'get on with it'. On Monday, the Prime Minister wrote to Sir John saying he was 'disappointed' that the inquiry was still unable to say when it was going to publish its report into the 2003 invasion.
