This is a video from a few months ago (he was less tame when we got him) of waking up a african pygmy hedgehog. He hisses a little bit, but back then he was just grumpy every time he was woken up.
Now... about 1 out of 7 times he will be a bit grumpy when he gets woken up while sleeping...
(He is sleeping in his 'house' in his cage, which is a shoe box with some towels/bedding and a little bed. Now he is a bit too big for the bed but he still likes to sleep in either that bed or a beanie hat)
