Nigerian music sensations Burna Boy and Fireboy DML emerged as luminaries at the BMI London Awards 2023, where they claimed the coveted 'Most Performed Work of the Year' awards alongside more than 20 other honorees.

Burna Boy's hit 'Last Last' and Fireboy's collaboration with British singer Ed Sheeran on 'Peru' were among the distinguished recipients. Additionally, the 'Impact Award' was bestowed upon Nigerian record producer Richard Isong, known as P2J.
