After checking in at our hotel, we start our walking tour of Rome Italy at the Imperial Forum. We continue our walk and we reach Piazza Navona and the beautiful fountain of the 4 rivers. From Piazza Navona we continue our walking tour of Rome Italy towards Castel Sant'Angelo and the Vatican. At the Vatican we explore St. Peters Basilica and the Pietà of Michelangelo. After the Vatican we continue our walking tour of Rome Italy and we reach Torre Argentina, the actual site where Julius Caesar was murdered. Our walking tour than takes us to the Jewish Ghetto with few stops in between to look at the Monument of Vittorio Emanuele II, the Campidoglio and the Portico D'Ottavia. In the Jewish Ghetto we have one of the Roman Jewish specialties deep fried artichokes (Carciofi alla Giudea). After dinner we start our walking tour of Rome Italy with a nice stroll to the Colosseum at night. We ended up back at the hotel 22,000 steps later. In March 2017, Rick and Andrea (confessed Travel Addicts) started a Facebook Group called Travel Addicts as a way to share their travel photos and videos not just with their own respective friend's lists – but with the world. Part of the reason was for bragging rights (I mean, that’s kind of the point of sharing photos, right?), but also to help answer questions to others about the destinations they have visited.
After inviting some of our friends and family, it grew and grew – and as of June 2019, the group has grown to over 200,000 members! One reason for our success, we believe, is that we have done our best to ensure only high-quality photos and videos get shared, all while limiting the use of commercial content.
