I heartily recommend The Milwaukee Handcenter for the Needle Aponeurotomy (N/A) procedure. Dr. Watchmaker was trained by Dr. Charles Eaton, an N/A in the USA pioneer. This session he worked on the base of the thumb, ring and pinky fingers. The entire procedure took only 20 minutes and UNLIKE other more expensive dupuytrens treatments, N/A works everytime it's tried.


Another thing I love about The Milwaukee Handcenter is that it is a privately owned and operated practice that has the minimum number of employees to get the job done. Waiting times, if any, are minimal and there is literally no "red tape" to wade thru. I'm at least 2 hrs from Dr. Watchmaker's office and I told him during our followup telehealth check that if I ever had an upper extremety or hand emergency I'd be willing to make that drive to see him if it was feasible.

Not all orthopedic or hand surgeons are knowledgeable about all the treatment options. If you're being told that surgery or the Xiaflex injectable is your ONLY option, the person telling you that is either lying or is unaware of all of today's options.
