Homemade, Easy Mak Kimchi
Ingredients for salting cabbage :
Baechu (Napa or Chinese cabbage) 1 kg
Sea salt or gray salt 1/3 cup (cup- 200ml)
water 1-2 cups
Ingredients for slicing:
green onions 100g
carrots 65g
For blending:
Onion 100g
Red bell peppers 1/2 piece
Red chili peppers 2-3 piece (optional)
Red radish or Daikon radish 140 g
Pear 1 or 1/2 Korean pear
apple 1/2
garlic 30 g
ginger 15 g
cooked rice or cooked potato 3 TBSP
water 3/4 cup
Ingredients to the large mixing bowl:
Gochugaru (Korean hot pepper flakes)
Fish sauce or soy sauce 4 TBSP
honey 2 T (optional)
