Brian uploaded this video of him playing the guitar part for Love of My Life (one of my favourite Queen songs) and I couldn't resist playing along with it on the cello. Queen's music has played a huge role in my life as a musician. When I was younger I aspired to play the guitar like Brian May and sing like Freddie Mercury. Unfortunately I still don't have enough talent to come close to these greats.. but that's fine by me, they are one of a kind. When I hear Freddie sing this song it breaks my heart every time. I have tried my best to express some of the emotion this song evokes in my little cello version. It was a great honour to play with one of my idols albeit virtually. Thanks to Brian for generously uploading the guitar track.
