Did you know that hummingbirds hatch from the world’s smallest eggs? Only the size of a jellybean! From small beginnings, our hummingbird rehabilitation volunteers help these birds to grow strong by regulating their body heat and feeding them every 30 minutes. Then, at three weeks old, the hummingbird babies begin to test their wings and are moved to a pre-release aviary to refine their flight and feeding skills!
