Peperami is a staple snack for my afternoons. I make a mug of tea, crack open a packet of Peperami, roll back its sheath and place the firm meat stick into my small Welsh mouth. Delicious. But what the hell is this?! A Vegetarian alternative?! The texture was how I imagined chicken would be if it was the offspring of Sylvester Stalone and Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger... almost too chickeny.
