Indian govt has announced a review of the Confucius Institutes (CI) in colleges across the country. As per reports, Indian chapters of CIs & Confucius Classrooms in seven colleges & universities is under the scanner. The review was triggered after security agencies alerted the govt about the growing Chinese influence in Indian higher education & culture.
