The Hollywood actress Goldie Hawn opened the January sales at London's
exclusive Harrod's department store on Wednesday - mounted on a model elephant.
It's become a tradition at the store to invite Hollywood stars to open the sales. In return they are allowed to name a charity, to which Harrods makes a donation.
Goldie Hawn asked for 25,000 US dollars to be given to the Fauna and Flora International Asian Elephant Appeal.
