M&M Cookie Recipe:

½ cup/115 grams of unsalted butter, very soft
1 cup/200 grams of granulated sugar
¼ packed cup/57 grams of dark brown sugar
1 large egg, at room temperature
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
1 teaspoon of kosher salt (Diamond Crystal) or ¾ teaspoon coarse kosher salt
¼ teaspoon of baking soda
1½ cups/185 grams of all-purpose flour
½ cup/96 grams of M&M’s
