In this video we are going to be making Gochujang. It is Korean traditional chili sauce that is widely used in many recipes now.
You can purchase Gochujang at Korean/ Asian stores but did you know unfortunately commercial Gochujang is far different to Traditional version?
It contains way too much Sodium, Sugar and Preservatives. I will show you how I make super simple, easy and tasty Gochujang!

* Ingredients *
6 big Medjool dates
1 Cup of water
1 Cup of finely ground Chill powder (If you prefer less spicy version, use Paprika powder instead😊👌)
2 Tbsp of Coconut liquid aminos (I think it is the best soy sauce substitute.
I use 'Bragg coconut liquid aminos')
2 Tsp of Himalayan pink salt
