Are you really living in recovery or just sober? There's a magnificent difference between living in recovery and stopping drinking or using! In my early sobriety I was bitter, I still had anxiety, and I was still selfish. It took about a year before I became truly grateful for the opportunity to be able to live without alcohol and to live in fulfillment. Today, I practice gratitude and give back freely.
