The newest ASAT design, the 'S' Alnico is a three-pickup guitar with classic looks and effortless playability. This one features a 3-Tone Sunburst finish on an alder body. The maple neck is G&L's classic C shape, and it has a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets. Electronically, this guitar is decked out. There is a G&L ASAT Classic single-coil Alnico pickup in the bridge and neck, and the middle position is a reverse-wound, reverse-polarity CLF-100 Alnico V. With the push/pull tone knob and 5-way selector switch, this guitar has an inexhaustible supply of tonal options. This is a great take on the ASAT, and it's perfect for constant gigging, recording, and practicing.
