Hello friends! I grew up in the era of vinyl records, and so I thought you might enjoy a soft-spoken show-and-tell video in which I talk about albums from six bands that were influential in my formative early music-listening years. I also ramble about how large-format media shaped a more engaging listening experience for the music lover in those days (from my own experience, of course - your mileage may vary ;-)
This video features soft-spoken rambling and tapping, and was inspired by two recent videos from the wonderful Ashley at Artful ASMR. Please check out her channel at [ Ссылка ]
I'll confess that it was *really* late at night when I recorded this video, and my tired brain was a little more rambly than I intended. I considered a bunch of surgical edits to tighten everything up, but eventually decided to let the improvisation stand as-is. It is casual and conversational, and I hope you find it relaxing.
I'd love to hear about your favorite bands, and your favorite ways to listen to music, in the comments below. Extra credit to anyone who names all of the albums that you see scattered on the table in this video (they're not that difficult). :-)
