This taxi driver skipped a red light in the turn-only lane on Lynnwood Road Eastbound, then made an illegal stop at c/o Lynnwood & Simon Vermooten, obstructing traffic and endangering other road users. The cammer hooted at the taxi and the incident ensued.
The taxi is seen attempting to push the cammer off the road on Simon Vermooten, but the cammer outmanoeuvres the taxi.
The driver then tries to box the cammer in at the robot and exits the vehicle with what seems to be a piece of PVC piping. As the weapom produced was non-lethal, the armed cammer did not discharge the firearm, but in stead manoeuvres around the taxi and avoids the confrontation. The taxi driver was lucky to escape with his life in this incident as the cammer was armed and could have acted in self defence if it was not possible to avoid the situation.
Always be smart when dealing with road-rage incidents and avoid getting boxed in or getting into a situation where there is no alternative but to use force to defend yourself. Always be attentive when someone shows aggressive behaviour and be prepared and pro-active to avoid damage to property or person.
