Former president Donald Trump’s second impeachment trial will continue on Feb. 12. He is accused of “incitement of insurrection” after the deadly Capitol riot.
House managers have argued that if senators do not convict Trump and prevent him from running for office again, the former president could incite more violence in the future. The managers used surveillance footage from the Capitol, along with Trump’s own words and tweets, to try to build a case against him.
