One night I had a dream about doing a song "Stayin Alive N95" so I did it! I rewrote the lyrics to the BeeGees classic Stayin Alive. I'll include them here.
Most people dropped masks years ago. Those of us who are informed are more cautious than ever. Covid isn't over. It's airborne. Studies continue to show the dangers of Long Covid. There are no mild cases. You can never be sure how much damage a single infection can do. Reinfections are even worse. I'm hoping this video will encourage people to normalize masking. You can still live your life. Just do it safely. Maybe you avoid crowds. Maybe you make safer choices. Maybe you wear an N95 mask & don't breathe contaminated air. I heard that the song "Stayin Alive" has saved lives because paramedics do chest compressions to the beat of the BeeGees song. I think that's beautiful. I hope my little song & video can save lives by encouraging people to mask. I had fun making this. I love the 70s & disco. I had several outfit changes & did a variety of disco dances. I'm still staying safe but I haven't lost my sense of humour or sense of fun. I hope you have as much fun watching this as I did making it. Please share. Spread the word. Masks save lives.
