What is Credit Karma really?

The scoring model Credit Karma uses? It's not bad, just different. They use the Vantage scoring model, which isn't as widely known or used as FICO.

Credit Karma's score is accurate, but it reflects your Vantage 2.0 or 3.0 score. There are two main scoring types: FICO, by the Fair Isaacs Corporation, and Vantage, created by consumer reporting agencies.
