Cow pea(black eyed pea)are called as lobia in hindi. Lobia vada know as Alasandalu or Bobbarlu in Telugu, Alsandhi in Kannada.Alasanda vadais one of the popular crispy snack that is prepared specially during the festival Sankranthi all over Andhra Pradesh and is a street food too.

Ingredients:
1.soak cow pea(black eyed pea) - 1 cup
2.green chilli - 6 nos
3.ginger - 2 tbsp
4.onion - 1 (medium size)finally chopped
5.cilnatro - 1/4 cup
6.carom seeds - 1 tbsp
7.fennal seeds - 1 tbsp
8.salt to taste
9.oil for deep fry
Recipe:
-fristly soak lobi(cow pea) for 6-7 hours ot overnight.
-after that transfer into blending without water.
-add green chilli and ginger.
-grind it coarse paste.
-after add onion, cilantro, carom seeds, fennal seeds and salt.
-mix well all the ingredients.
-now make vada and deep fry it in hot oil untill to golden brown colour.
(on low medium flame)
-finally lobia vada is ready to eat.
-serve with chutney or sauce, enjoy the south indian breakfast.
