In this video I am going to talk about the stupidest rule that I think exists in soccer. When I saw this on TV I was somewhere between shocked and in disbelief. This is just stupid.
It happened in the game of Croatia vs. Spain on June 15th 2024 during the first game day of the EURO 2024 in Germany. Croatia won a penalty after one of their players was fouled inside the penalty box.
During the kick one of their players enters the penalty box early and since he recovered the rebound, it would be considered a foul - Meaning the penalty wouldn't be re-kicked, and the penalty kick was just - I guess gone? Disappeared?
My personal opinion? Such a stupid rule. A penalty is important, it decides games. And entering the penalty box early? Well it sucks, it should lead to the rekick of the penalty, but not to the loss of the penalty. That is just stupid in my opinion.
Anyways thank you guys so much for watching my videos. It really means the world to me that you take the time off your days to watch them - and I hope I am going to see you in the next one aswell. Cheers.
