Operation Northwoods was a top secret plan to stage terrorist attacks against US civilians, to blame on Fidel Castro & get the support of the American public to wage war on Cuba. A classic false flag operation. Fortunately, President Kennedy rejected the plan. It sounds insane, but it's 100% true.
