Student Leadership Award to distinguished Nigerian Students and guest Lecture by Ambassador Dr Maitama Yusuf Sule (Dan Masanin Kano) on "Unity and Patriotism: Key to Nation Building".

In this event, organised by the leadership of the Nigerian Scholars studying at the University of Sussex, 3 students that showed leadership qualities were given Student Leadership Award. The society and the University of Sussex also had the pleasure of having Ambassador Dr. Maitama Yusuf Sule (Dan Masanin Kano) who gave a Guest Lecture on "Unity and Patriotism: Key to Nation Building". In attendance were the Nigerian Acting High Commissioner - Adah Simon Ogah, Pro Vice Chancellor, University of Sussex - Professor Stephen Shute and many professors and students.
