Previously, the party returned to Halloween Town. Some despicable thief has been stealing presents, and now Dr. Finklestein's latest experiment has been stolen, too. Jack Skellington has devised a scheme to make fake presents to draw the thief out.

Before making the fake presents, the party will chat up some of the NPCs in Halloween Town. Lock, Shock, and Barrel are up on Yuletide Hill (time 1:05). The Mayor, Sally, Dr. Finklestein, and Zero are up in Finklestein's Lab (time 2:38).

Back in Santa's House, the party goes to the Toy Factory: Shipping and Receiving (time 4:03). They go up the ramps to the Wrapping Room (time 4:29).

Inside, they talk to the elf to start wrapping (time 4:37). This begins the Gift Wrapping minigame. Sora must use the cannon to fire toys into empty boxes. He can fire the presents with X. When the Toy counter gets low, he can reload with Triangle. For now, the objective is simply to score 100 points. Lock, Shock, and Barrel will show up to cause problems, but Sora can stun them by shooting them.

After the minigame, the party will revel in their gift-wrapping success (time 6:09). They obtain the Decoy Presents key item.

Downstairs, they report to Santa Claus (time 6:44). He seems to have an idea where to put the decoys.

Afterwards, the party regains control in Santa's House (time 7:03). Before doing battle, they prepare themselves.

When they are ready, they talk to Santa Claus (time 9:29). They tell him, 'Yes.' He will open the gate to Christmas Tree Plaza to help the party carry out Jack's scheme.

The next scene plays out in Christmas Tree Plaza (time 10:38). It doesn't take long for Jack's scheme to bear fruit. The Experiment has come alive!

Afterwards, it is time to battle the Experiment (time 11:43). The Experiment's body parts can move independently, kind of like the Guard Armor. It will attack with lasers, ground-pounding, whirlwinds, and other attacks. You can attack during pauses in its attacks, but Limits will also work pretty well. Combo finishers will break it to pieces. When this happens, look for the opportunity to use Kickspring. This will pummel the Experiment's limbs.

At the end of the battle, Sora reaches Bonus Level 44 (time 13:52). Donald learns a Jackpot ability. Sora, Goofy, and Jack each get boosts to Max HP.

When the battle is over, it is the end of the line for Finklestein's Experiment (time 14:08). Santa will show up and give Jack an amazing reward for his help.

Sora will get the Decisive Pumpkin keychain (time 15:25). This keyblade increases damage dealt based on the number of hits in a combo.

In Halloween Town Square, the party talks with Dr. Finklestein and Sally (time 15:57). Jack will make quite the entrance, courtesy of Santa Claus. Seeing Jack and Sally together will give Sora an interesting vision. The story events in Halloween Town are now concluded.

The player now earns the trophy "The Gift of Love" for completing Halloween Town's events (time 19:26).

When the party arrives on the Gummi Ship, the route to the Pride Lands is unlocked again (time 19:34). In addition, the mysterious structure in the far north of the map is taking form. Chip and Dale will comment on it. Something strange happens at Twilight Town. Not only that, there is now a Gummi Route blocking the way to Twilight Town. How inconvenient!

The party then lands at Santa's House again (time 20:59). Next, they will carry out the remaining minigame here.
